Giveaway Time!

It’s a vintage pocket watch (clock hands removed) with a mini print of Seafaring Heart inside! And this watch has a story (a creepy but magical one of sorts). I bought it from an antique dealer at an outdoor market, I found it as I was digging through a box of rusty things and for some reason I felt compelled to make it mine. It was broken, but for some odd reason it would start ticking here and there, without winding (the winder knob was broken.) I was honesty sick of hearing it go off at random times so I decided to dissect it and use the watch body as a frame for my print (little gears are still inside though). I want to pass it on to you, bewitched as it is. I think the ticking might have forever stopped but the winner MUST let me know if it starts up again!

Hang it on the wall OR wear it around your neck. It comes with a pretty vintage lace tie and some bits of calico!

Do you want it mailed to your doorstep wrapped in pretty antique fabric?

To win it all you have to do is describe to me the highlight of your summer thus far! I will randomly choose a winner Friday, August 15 at 5:00 PM! Please don’t be shy!

  1. about the only good thing this year so far is (saved up for 4 months) a new computer, still need a good video card for it though (ran out of $, using my old one – talk about a mismatch)

  2. my friend just told me about your beautiful etsy shop and now i find this lovely blog to check in on too! and just in time for a giveaway!
this has been a very low-key summer for me due to my financial situation so when i saved up enough for food and gas money, my two best friends and i went on a beautiful camping trip. we swam in lakes and the ocean, hiked beautiful trails and met many interesting little creatures. when i got home i didn’t want to wash the smell of bonfire and tree sap out of my clothes, i love the smell of camping!
i hope your summer is going splendidly, it looks to be!

  4. highlight of my summer is going to the beach and riding this HUGE wave! i thought i was going to die and didn’t so it was very exciting!

and to add to that i had a delicious philly cheese steak sandwich after that!

  5. The highlight of my summer was when the blueberries came into season. Every morning for a few weeks I went outside before it got too hot and picked a large bowl full of blueberries. I had grand plans to make delightful treats with them, but I just ended up eating them on their own instead. I couldn’t resist! I don’t buy them in the store because they are never as good so for one month I truly gorge on blueberries and it’s the best!
