  1. Loving the bluebird! Its a gorgeous blue that you used, and I sense how focused she is on her goal, whatever that might be. I can almost feel the wind as it carries her swiftly past me.

  2. I have been drawn to the fox, he is in the most interesting position… i cant quite figure him out… so he is my very favorite, the the painting as a whole is just wonderful… what wonderful ideas you have! thanks for sharing!

  3. I love the naughty little rabbit!

I love all your lovely art, but I think this painting is my favourite, with all the different critters to look at!

  4. it’s really hard to decide just for one, but I loved that owl πŸ™‚
    the whole painting is amazing.

  5. I love this painting! My favorite is the goose; the details on her feathers are beautiful, and the vivid red ribbon looks so pretty next to her!

  6. I do adore the * F O X * !
Because his position makes him look like he’s asleep. So, instead of “sleepwalking” this little cutie pulls pretty women’s hair. What an original way of somnambulism !

    PS : What a fabulous package !

  7. Just as many before me, I must choose the fox pulling on the hair. I’ve had a good think about it, and came to the conclusion that it must be because of the rather “needy” expression of his clever bodyposition – it seems very human, childlike, in some way, and therefor speaks to me. Anyone who’ll win your package would be a lucky bastard πŸ™‚

  8. oh i am definitely in but it is so hard to choose just one! i think my tops are the fox, the faun and the rabbit but i am going to go all out and say the goose because i don’t see that animal often…

  9. My favorite is the goose. It’s my favorite because I call my partner this–goose. I think it derived from calling him “silly goose.” The word now takes on all forms, but I most commonly call him little goose in Spanish, now, which is gansito. Your depiction is quite a sentimental favorite of mine, I guess.

  10. The pretty little bluebird is my favorite! I love getting a rare glimpse of bluebirds in my yard in the spring. I have a couple houses for them that they took advantage of last year!

  11. We moved from the city to a pretty old home in the country and have enjoyed all of the wildlife as in your lovely painting. Our favorite new neighbor is the fox that my girls love to spy on the humt for squirrel, not hair. so cute!

  12. i stumbled upon your site the other day i LOVE your art work and photos. i true inspiration,

i love the fox in your painting! i have always loved foxes after reading “fantastic mr. fox.” such mysterious animals.

  13. I love this painting! and my favourites are fox and fawn, but to choose one I guess it’s the fox, I like his look of light-as-a-feather suspension.

  14. Nice to meet you! Sara!
I found your blog accidentally before, and the picture and all the lifestyles came to love it!

I am a girl living in Japan.
I’m afraid I cannot express what I think in English well, but I hope you can manage to understand it

    I cannot draw the picture.
But I do collage with a photograph and various material.
In addition, I love that I write poetry.
And I like that I make accessories in the same way as you.

I use rabbits for the motif of accessories well.

But a fox may be the best when I watch your picture.
Because I have a feeling that the unkind place of the fox resembles me:)

    Your picture is mysterious.
At the time of solitude, I am not lonely either.
Time to imagine it alone and the splendor are jam-packed!

Please continue drawing a wonderful picture from now on.

  15. The fox reminds me of my cat William – who is orange with a fluffy tail. He is my favorite!

  16. To pick a favourite is very hard, because several of the birds/animals means something special to me in different ways, but I think I have to choose the fox this time and here`s the reason:

When I grew up we had a large flatcoated retriever who spent his days in our garden. We lived right beside the forest so he had plenty of room to play. One day we heard strange noises from the garden, and when we took a look we saw our dog playing with a beautiful red fox. Yes, they were actually playing… and about an hour later we found them both sleeping in the garden, only a few meters appart.

The fox on your painting look so playful, just like the one we saw back then πŸ™‚

  17. Hi Sarah,

My favourite is the fox…because I spent so long in London hoping to see one (and then I met the man of my dreams and saw three in a short space of time!). Also because, like you, I think tendrils of hair in strange places are beautiful . (-; Love your work!

  18. Hi Sarah!
    I enjoy reading your blog—-
and your art are an inspiration.

Well if I must choose,I choose the Fox.
    Like all the others,:-)
    I canΒ΄t really explain why—-

  19. Sarah, I love the way you paint birds. I think that you capture more than the shape of the bird, the vibrant colours; you manage to paint the very essence of flight, the thrill of it. For this reason, I choose the bluebird as my favourite. I love them for the bright punches of colour pulling the ribbons and hair into that whimsical, surreal circle of animals…they really guide the eye into following the path from the first girl up and around to the second one. Birds always hold a special meaning for me, too.

  20. the goose, because i like both the goose and the bluebird and in the goose i can spot the bluebird in the background too! the goose is heading upwards, going higher, towards the clouds, towards dreams.
    lovely work.

  21. Hi Sarah
Thanks for stopping by at my blog.
I love all the animals! …..
Bu,t I have to choose the naughty fox tugging on the girls hair.
    Have a magical day!
    Karen x

  22. Oh my oh my oh my! How I would love to win this! What an awesome giveaway!~
I think my favorite is the fox. Just something about him, love his little face. This is such a beautiful painting. Love it!~

  23. I just love them all! Each and every one. If forced to decide I guess I would have to choose the owl as they are my favorite creatures! I love the painting and the giveaway is to die for! Keeping my fingers crossed!

  24. i have to choose the fox.. one ran through my garden this morning while i was making coffee and made my day

  25. Hi Sarah,
Thanks for your sweet comment on my blog the other day!
This is quite a generous giveaway, and I think this new painting is just beautiful. All the animals are extremely charming, but I have a particular fondness for the goose, I think. I have a very strong sense memory of watching geese flying, and you’ve really captured what they look like.
    have a great day!

  26. I love the bluebird! I have been absolutely charmed by birds for the past year or two. Count me in!

  27. I think it must be the bluebird. I had a bird-theme at my wedding, and two birds atop my cake, so I have a special love of birds and bird motifs. And your blue bird is so very pretty.

  28. What a beautiful and generous package!

I adore your work, and can hardly chose ONE favorite creature from this painting.

I might say the fawn, because I’ve always been fond of deer. Then again, I could say the fox.. because as a young girl I wished to have one as a pet.

And.. well.. I love the birds because of their grace and beauty.

Just a lovely painting; thank you for the chance to win!

  29. Oh! What a lovely giveaway! πŸ™‚ My favorite animal from the painting is the rabbit… but that is perhaps because I have a pet rabbit so I am partial to them. πŸ˜‰

  30. I love the fox. I have a print of yours with two little foxes that sits next to my bed and I love them too…

  31. Ohhhh, pick me, pick me! I’m a fan of your artwork. My favourite animal is the rabbit but I’m thinkin’ that the fox is up to something. What exactly is he up to? Why is he tugging her hair? Is he floating up into the sky…and that is why he is holding her hair…? Hmmm… Your artwork always tells a story.

  32. I love the complete animal chain around the girls hair, it is so vivid. I like the bluebird the best, bright and spirited and so blue. Great composition.
