things to come

July 6, 2009 | Filed Under sketch | by Sarah Blank | 8 Comments

The last few months I have been busy developing faces, ideas, compositions for summer painting time! Taking little notes on each page so I remember what I want to do. Secret sketching time, I guess.

A spreading out of sketches on my painting room floor…

And these don’t include the sketchings in my giant book. All of this is quite dangerous, as I tend to get lost in the devopment of ideas. I must scan them in and share some close ups.
Now back to my paintings (so much more to come..)

Have a beautiful day and thanks for your visit here!

Ooh, how intriguing. I can’t wait to see what these turn out to be in their final form.

I’ve also been trying to get together the bulk of my upcoming inventory, but it’s slow going and I’m not even nearly as thorough as you. :)

Your sketches are so lovely , and organized!! : ) I know what you mean about getting lost in ideas!! I do the same thing, and I have ever so many ideas sketched (and even written) out that I never find the time to complete!! Eeeep!

Happy painting to you!! : )

Oh, I love seeing all these little brunettes together !
My very favourite is the half-hidden one, in the right upper corner … Under the one with the parted hair.

It’s been nice reading you again,
