More highlights of antique art pieces from my visit to Vermont. The rooms were dark and things were behind glass, but here are some favorites to inspire!<\/p>\n<p>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.sarahblankstudios.com\/images\/blog\/090726_1.jpg\"><\/p>\n<p>\nThere were over 200 hat boxes and band boxes on display.<\/p>\n<p>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.sarahblankstudios.com\/images\/blog\/090726_3.jpg\"><\/p>\n<p>\nA detail and a bonnet!<\/p>\n<p>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.sarahblankstudios.com\/images\/blog\/090726_2.jpg\"><\/p>\n<p>\nAnd..<\/p>\n<p>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.sarahblankstudios.com\/images\/blog\/090726_4.jpg\"><\/p>\n<p>\nI love the shape of her dress and the pose (look at the little horse on the table!)<\/p>\n<p>\nThere were rooms of diorama&#8217;s and doll house rooms, bird stores, general stores, hat shops. The museum rooms that housed these were so dark, and each little diorama was illuminated.<\/p>\n<p>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.sarahblankstudios.com\/images\/blog\/090727_5.jpg\"><\/p>\n<p>\nThe dollhouse rooms were in little boxes hung on the wall.<\/p>\n<p>\nFor some reason this drew me in. I think it was the hummingbird in the snug little nest!<\/p>\n<p>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.sarahblankstudios.com\/images\/blog\/090727_6.jpg\"><\/p>\n<p>\nI love all the little layered details and glazes.<\/p>\n<p>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.sarahblankstudios.com\/images\/blog\/090727_7.jpg\"><\/p>\n<p>\nAlthough I didn&#8217;t see it happen, the layered paper images in this piece move&#8230;<\/p>\n<p>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.sarahblankstudios.com\/images\/blog\/090727_8.jpg\"><\/p>\n<p>\nThese two guys were so sweet paired behind the glass.<\/p>\n<p>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.sarahblankstudios.com\/images\/blog\/090727_9.jpg\"><\/p>\n<p>\nThere was a room of dollhouses. I love how this one looked so golden.<\/p>\n<p>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.sarahblankstudios.com\/images\/blog\/090727_10.jpg\"><\/p>\n<p>\nA favorite scrimshaw on the shelf&#8230;<\/p>\n<p>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.sarahblankstudios.com\/images\/blog\/090727_11.jpg\"><\/p>\n<p>\nAnd two more things&#8230;<\/p>\n<p>\nThis pipe is so silly.<\/p>\n<p>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.sarahblankstudios.com\/images\/blog\/090727_12.jpg\"><\/p>\n<p>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.sarahblankstudios.com\/images\/blog\/090727_14.jpg\"><\/p>\n<p>\nThat&#8217;s it for now!
