Tried painting with a feather today. Fingerpainting is much more fun.

Just two little playground pieces. I am most happy painting tight details but these loose concept sketches and assemblages sometimes get the create juices flowing. I usually keep them to myself but why not share once in awhile?

I can only imagine painting with a feather! :) I like your ideas though. This experimental piece is beautiful Sarah! I’ve tried mixed media before as the artist I wish I was in my head and it looked weird- not enough layering. Yours really works for me!! The butterflies flying away are a nice touch!!

I am just in love with your concepts and images. I can’t stop looking.. I am certainly going to buy your set of the birdcages. So wierd I found your site because I am researching the right bird and birdcage image to tattoo on my shoulder. I know I sound wierd, but it is an image I have had in my mind for years. Thank you for tons of inspiration…
