Your journals are so lovely! I recently went through my closets and found things that could be reconstructed, so it's very inspiring to see what others are doing. I used to collect vintage clothing, so I have all sort of lace and silk...it sorts of breaks my heart to think of cutting it up, but I never wear (what happened to all those fancy tea parties I was supposed to attend?) so maybe this is the puch I need!

The running to the art store really hit a chord with me, totally what I was thinking of when I made my list... We are so bred to be consumers, we forget or rather get blinded by what we have... Tough one to avoid when I teach, but I too am going to try to be more 'conscious'! Love that you are lighting a candle in your studio - are you listening to music too?

Yes, I have been thinking a lot about being more green, less greedy with new materials. I find myself running out to the art store too many times. I love art materials and arty products, but I also have lots and lots of things I can recycle. And all those scrap book papers...I can use found papers with my own designs or old wallpapers and be just as happy! So, I guess that is my new years resolution. (I love your list, by the way) I just lit a candle in my art studio and I am sipping tea....slowing down!
love!

Love your slippers, like a forest fairy! The whole 'slow art' movement has me thinking more about 'using what I already have' too! Love your inspiration... perhaps I will take heed as well and do the same. Have a wonderful weekend!

What lovely slippers....and your journal! Oh! : ) I LOVE mossy things...I just relocated some moss that was growing behind our house into a little moss garden near the front door....it's so pretty and dreamy!
